Jared and I had a fabulous time on a cruise of the Pacific Northwest. We sailed out on Sunday, May 31st on the Mariner of the Sea and returned the following Sunday, June 7th. The ship was amazing. If you utilized all the activities available there was no way you could suffer from boredom. There was an ice skate rink, climbing wall, mini golf, in line skating rink, basketball court, dodge ball tournaments, ping pong tables, shuffle board, movie theater, a fitness center, 3 swimming pools and too many hot tubs for me to count. They offered all kinds of entertainment such as comedians, singing and dancing groups, an ice skating show, which was my favorite. They also offered dance lessons, how to lose belly fat, whiten your teeth, how to put your make up on right and others. They also had all kinds of gambling within the built in casino and also without. The food was fabulous and overwhelming, we ate way too much. We had a fun time at the ports which included San Francisco, Victoria BC and Seattle. We really enjoyed ourselves and plan to go on another cruise in the future. We are happy to be home to our beautiful kids seven days was a long time to be away from the little ones we love so much.

Update on us...Our fabulous cruise to Mexico has been replaced with a less exotic trip to Canada, Seattle and San Fransisco. We are still excited and will have a great time no matter what but talk about a let down.

Hello to our friends and family who frequent our blog. I saw this on my Sister-in-laws blog and thought it would be fun to try. So here goes...

OK! So this is how this works...the first 5 people to respond to this post will receive something made by me for you. my choice. made especially for you.of course there are some restrictions and limitations:~
1 .I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2. what I create will be just for you.
3 It will be done sometime this year.
4 you have no clue what it will be... it may be a story. It may be poetry or an article on properly cleaning your face before a masque. I may draw or paint something. I may bake something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure. ;-)
5 I reserve the right to do something extremely strange. The catch? The catch is that you must repost this on your own blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on their blog. The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did will win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me!! Oh! And be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it!
